Awesome school and lots of fun

Charity Events

Through various charity events, FSM aims to broaden the children's knowledge and understanding of the world in which we live and help those who are less fortunate than ourselves. Many of the fundraising ideas are initiated by children who have a particular interest in the chosen charity. Throughout the school year, FSM aims to offer a wide variety of events in order to involve each and every member of the school in a fun and worthwhile cause.

So far this term we have taken part in the "World's Biggest Coffee Morning" raising money for the Macmillan trust. The pre prep's Harvest Festival collected produce for the Trussel Trust and they will also be growing daffodils in aid of the Marie Curie charity. The school is currently taking part in a Readathon, the proceeds of which will go to supporting children with serious illnesses. On 22nd November there will be a sponsored bike ride in the New Forest, raising money for Lance Armstrong's charity "Livestrong". If you are keen to join us then please email Mr Humphreys. The more the merrier.
