Babies and Feet Painting

In Reception, we have been looking at ourselves as babies and learning about how we grow. All the children brought in a photograph of themselves as a baby and we all tried to guess who was in the photograph. We listened to the noises that babies make and had a go at writing baby sounds using our phonic sounds. We have also been looking at how we have changed since we were a baby, things that we can now do and how our body has grown. This week we have been measuring our feet, making imprints of our feet in clay and today we painted our feet and made foot prints all over the paper, the floor and amazingly the walls!
